Investing in better machinery for quality processing of decorative and utility materials
The company “DSP PLUS” began its activity in 2008 and is engaged in the sale of furniture components (plates, facades, fittings, sliding systems, etc.), while also providing related services for processing plates, kitchen countertops, frame profiles, etc. The range of goods sold by the sub-borrower is very wide and includes OSB, fibreboard, chipboard, MDF, plywood, facades of various manufacturers, worktops, profiles, furniture fittings, kitchen appliances, etc., which allows the company to meet the needs of the most demanding buyers.

To meet the increasing demands for quality products, the company invested in new processing machinery, obtaining a loan of €112,979 through the fast and easy Simplified Approach, which involved choosing the required machine from the pre-approved List of Eligible Technologies (LET).
The new machinery is more efficient in its energy use in comparison to the old one, leading to nearly 156 MWh/y energy savings and over 24 t CO2/y greenhouse gas reduction. In addition, the new equipment offers better work protection for operators and helped the company meet EU Directives on product quality and safety and environmental protection.
After the successful implementation and verification of this project, the company received 10 per cent of the loan value as a grant incentive, funded under the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.
